NDIS Compliance Note โ€” Support Worker Tickets & Entry Fees

When a support worker accompanies a participant to a paid activity (cinema, bowling, concert, sport), the support worker’s entry ticket is claimable as part of the support shift under NDIS guidelines. Always document it correctly, and never charge the participant’s NDIS plan for the ticket separately. Confirm current rates with your Plan Manager and reference the NDIS Price Guide.

How the Timetable Works in Practice
You Choose Your Routine, You Plan Your Happy Days
Participants choose what they book into. The schedule is published weekly. Some will start with just one activity per week and build from there. The morning walk and breakfast are designed as the gateway โ€” lowest barrier, highest reward, easiest first step.

You’ll Never Be Alone โ€” We’re Building With You
Each session has a lead support worker assigned, plus additional workers based on participant numbers. Every participant or member is more than welcome to bring their own support staff along too โ€” we just need a little heads up beforehand so we can plan and adjust group session sizes accordingly.

The Core Structure โ€” Everything Else Builds Around It
Not every session runs every week โ€” some rotate fortnightly or monthly as marked. The daily walk + breakfast structure provides the core anchor. Everything else builds around it.

This is your signature product. A structured, bookable weekly program that participants opt into. Each activity is run with 1โ€“2 support workers. Participants book via a simple app or phone call. The schedule creates predictability โ€” which is itself therapeutic.
